Pollinators

The hot weather has been terrible for fishing but on the plus side, i've noticed a big increase in pollinators visiting my garden.
I've packed the garden with Bee,Moth and Butterfly, friendly plants and this year has been the best yet.

Noticed when i have been out for a stroll the bees seem to love Lavender plants. Always plenty buzzing about the Lavender. Good to see them doing better.

We’ve noticed this too. Last week we had a Hummingbird Hawk moth in the garden. First time I’ve ever seen one. I struggled to get a decent photo so I’ve lifted a couple from the net

It was really cool, looked more like a hummingbird than a moth.

Of the same family I had an eyed hawkmoth in my garden recently

I haven't encountered either of these two beauties in the garden, but some years I come across elephant hawk moth caterpillars.
