As those of you who have fished Haddo recently will know Mr Barrio is constructing a new mansion at the fishery.  I wonder if members of this forum can use their expertise to offer Mike help in deciding the decor and general ambience of his new abode.  I am going to provide a chandelier for the grand main reception room.  Do other members have equally suitable decor.   jim

Things I was thinking about :-  stags antlers for the dinning room, possibly a piano for the drawing room, A bearskin rug for the hearth in the study, things to give the mansion the gravitas it deserves.

I have a couple of suits of armour that may look quite good either side of the entrance. :)

Rob

I'd be careful, shedding coats of armour in your position must be constituted a major Health and safety issue :z4 :z4 :z4

Since we will all benifit from the "Mansion" in one way or another , I would be more than happy to make a contribution . So if there is anything I can contribute or help in anyway just let me know Mike.

Ross - Mike is in the process of having a new and larger hut built at Haddo. Looks like it will be better built than some houses I've lived it :!

Exactly the reason i thought you were offering the armour. :z4
Perhaps it might suit Mike better, although i think there could be some dissimilar metal corrosion with the brass :z4
