Step 1: Lay up touching turns of Black thread to above hook point.
Step 2: Then tie in the Fluo Green or Fluo Yellow UV Krystal Hair.
Step 3: Trim to length you require and then tie in a single strand of
Fine Silver Wire.
Step 4: Tie in your Black Cock Palmering Hackle.
Step 5: Chop up some Black Marabou & dub onto thread.
Step 6: Make a slim body up to a point behind the eye – ensure you
leave plenty of room for a head!
Step 7: Wind Palmering Hackle in evenly spaced turns towards the
head & tied off & trim.
Step 8: Run the Rib in the opposite direction to the head and secure.
Step 9: Tie in your Irish Olive Cock Hackle and make 3 or 4 turns
and tie back, keeping some space between the Hackle and
the eye of the hook for your head.
Step 10: Whip finish, cut the thread & apply a few drops of varnish.
I find that by using Marabou as a dubbing material you increase the amount of colours/shades
available to you.Alex
