With the drier days apparently here there has been increased hatches and fish seem to be taking the smaller flies with lures still tempted a few , some nice 5lb fish have been seen this week after a recent stocking of fish up to 7.5lb , hopefully one of them will be tempted soon.
A few good catches this week , A. Murray with 15 fish on white fritz , B . Creswell with 11 fish on Hares eat, C . Watson with 16 fish on nymph and bloodworm, M . Prior with 8 fish on aly McCoist , L . Davidson with 7 fish on a nymph To name a few.
Delgatie Castle Trout Fishery is open seven days from 8am and visitors and novices are always welcome
Booking is not necessary and boats (where required) rods and tackle is available for hire at the fishery.
