Fish still predominantly deeper and buzzers seem to be the biggest winner in fly selection . Fly fishing like other fishing is always testing and you seem to have more flies in the box then you will ever use but you always need more ! Well that's what I tell myself anyway
Some great catches this week here are a few of them , N . Danial tempted 8( buzzers) J. Danial 11 fish ( buzzers) , F.West 11 (fish (various lures), D. Mackay 8 fish ( buzzers) , N . Marchant 9 fish (damsels), A. Murray with 9( on another occasion 11) mostly on black fritz, C. Watson 10 fish (damsel nymphs) and N. Thomson 9 fish (buzzers)
Tagged fish are still not caught yet and the pot grows it only costs £1 , definitely worth a shot!
Delgatie Castle Trout Fishery is open seven days from 8am and visitors and novices are always welcome. Booking is not necessary and boats (where required) rods and tackle is available for hire at the fishery.
