Liam, don't have the book handy but think most allow Sunday but not kintore (can't remember full name). Also only south bank on lower parkhill not the north.

Andy is correct.

You can fly fish for brown trout on all ADAA River Don beats on a sunday, except for these two stretches:
- Torryburn & Balbithan
- North Bank of Lower Parkhill

Our website is still being rebuilt following recent hacking incident; apologies for the incovnenience. In the meantime, I'm happy to answer ADAA-related stuff.

cheers

All the rules are in the ADAA Diary that is dished out with your ticket / permit, Liam.  Have you lost yours already?  :z4

I flicked through the little red book and couldn't find any info on Sunday fishing... Though I'm sure I've seen it in there before. What page is it on?  :z16

Look in the Rules section for the River Don. The note about Sunday fishing is there.

We could be clearer about it, to be honest. Another job for the to-do list!

Iain, does that mean I can fish the Dee on a Sunday for Trout? I can think of a couple of lower pools where trout are abumdant but not fished for.

To be fair, the original reply was that ALL ADAA beats could be fished with the exception of Torryburn/North Bank. To a new ADAA member it could have come across that you could also fish the Dee and Ythan.

The original post has now been edited and makes it much clearer.
