Full outfit wanted in a #9 or #10. Rod 4 piece in tube, reel and lines, ideally floater and intermediate, cold water.
Recommendations also welcome as this salty business is all new to me.  :z16

I use these lines as they are made to cast budgies  :wink

The Airflo Bluetooth rods are not bad

This is a decent reel at not a bad price.

You really need a stripping basket, i like the William Johseph, it folds away into a belt so its not awkward to move round with

What you going after Noel :? I ask as you might want to consider a super-fast sinker as an essential piece of kit in salt water.

Here you go http://www.tacklebargains.co.uk/acatalog/Cold_Saltwater_Fly_Lines.html   They have a whole range of Airflo saltwater lines (cold and tropical) at discount prices. I have a full set of the cold water XT Striper lines and they are spot on, great lines and at about £15 each, excellent value. If you do not mind not having a box, you can get them for closer to a tenner in some cases.

They also have the Temple Fork range of rods, with the TiCrx going for about £190. Excellent rods indeed. http://www.tacklebargains.co.uk/acatalog/Single_Handed___8___10_Weight_Rods.html

Oh..and if you are looking for something a little more custom, I have a 9/10 weight rod partially built at home which I could finish to your spec. British Harrison custom rolled blank. Would be around the £160 mark.

or, a complete custom version, plain, black, blue, burghandy or green blank with choice of fittings... :) The blue looks lovely by the way :)

Hey Noel,

Life in Oz was okay. I'm in Thailand now and life here is great. How's things in sunny Scotland? No problem, hope you're still getting out fishing.

Cheers
