A reminder of the new pricing for Haddo (upto 4HR £14, Upto 6HR £16 and Full day £18 )
Just before the heavy down pour last weekend I.Lowe had a good bag of 13 on Various flies and G.Gauld had a good bag of 4 . With the rain the water level was soon very high and murky but eased off mid week just in time for the frost to show itself . with this unfortunately it brought a layer of ice to Haddo and both friday and Saturday was mainly spent breaking the ice with boats out each day with not much movement from the fish at all. On sunday it was sandy and jim's turn and the fishing was quiet but Jim managed to land a cracking 2-3lb Brown trout ,very dark and healthy fish.
Aerators are being put in to allow more movement on the lake and this should help keep the ice away(for a period atleast) Hope to see you out there soon.Photo's to follow
