It was a great day for casting, a little on the cold side but nice to get out and have a play with a few rods.

Howling wind, sideways rain & sleet.  Met office observations at Dyce put wind at 26 -30MPH gusting 49 - 51MPH, may have been OK if it was not for the geography of the park which makes things gusty & inconsistent on the best of days.

Thanks to those who turned out, there should be an award simply for attendance today!

New series Salmon record for Pete 172'  This is especially impressive as only one month ago, Peter was almost disabled following surgery to correct whip finishers wrist.  (happy this time McCallum?  )
