Guys,
I will not be able to attend the first session. Right arm has finally given up the ghost, going to the doctor on Tuesday. Hopefully get fixed in time for the next one.

Eddie.  :cry

Who is Kate Humble :z8

TV nature presenter, famed for Beaverwatch or similar outdoor adventuring.
I stray off topic, time to head to a mucky field

AH, thanks Jim, nice image.

Yes, the casting was great fun today. The weather was kind, mostly, and was grand catching up with folks. Some interesting chat about short lines for river fishing too.

I really, really failed to get to grips with that 55' salmon casting thing. Nice to have a challenge to work on for next time....
I think it's killed my back, certainly felt it during the 3 subsequent hours of bass practice with the ska band this afternoon. (aka-SKA's 8th annual Skalloween event is next sat, 2nd Nov in Aberdeen for anyone that likes 2-Tone and old ska tunes).

I'm sure Ben will post the scores once he's stopped playing with his lovely sparkly hula hoops :-)

Really pleased that you guys liked the light line prototypes Iain, they'll be available in the not too distant future. Some great feedback on these today thanks, your thoughts, as always, do make a difference to the final products

Great seeing everybody enjoying the accuracy game :z16

Best wishes

Hi All,

Thanks to those who turned up to cast, not great conditions and this was reflected by the distances cast.  Wind seemed to be coming from all directions at once.

Some really good casts from all, results are attached as an excel sheet.  Longest cast / most hits gets one point, shortest / lowest gets 9 for scoring purposes.  Will get some pics up later on, off fishing just now.

Cheers

Sounds like a cracking day, sorry to have missed it, sadly had to collect mum-in-law off the train early afternoon (poor timing on my part).  Didn't even have time for a quick cast as a consolation.

Hope to be able to make next one, heading into hospital for a wee op so attendance will depend on this.

Cheers
