Jim

Try and keep it to one bottle jimbo :z18

Ladies I was only joking about the like button. Well kinda. It's on other forums I use and I do find it handy. Saves all the nice one/ lovely pic etc posts.
Thanks whoring obviously goes on but so what.

As for all the Facebook references. It's funny how certain individuals (Iain Goolager) despite claiming Facebook is for pencils or poo's or some such sure seem to know a lot about it. Eh eh eh!!!

Liam,
Hello wee boy, hope your not wearing budgie smugglers in that heat or Noel might have to 'like' your post................wait a minute that sounds wrong!

Jim, enjoy the artificial heat from the old tattie juice as it's gonna get a whole lot colder.

Euan, I had a hearty guffaw when I read that you actually went & had some bacon  :z4 :z4 :z4 the power of the internet

Al, is Skyfall any good? (oh no! that's a Facebook thing to say  :X1)

Matt, nice photo. I've a new pair of waders - Orvis Sonic Seams so my two old pairs of leaky leg waders are now history, thank goodness.

Trig, you are a girl!

Fried in lard until nice and crispy then served in a bap, smeared in butter. One good squirt of French's mustard and away you go! :grin

Thanks for the idea! :z16

Hi mike :z16

Yes had a few all on bloodworm. Good hard fighting fish. Was surprised at the amount of guys out fishing. It was Baltic and wet but I enjoyed every bit of it. Got lots of good warm layers nowadays only part that needs sorting is feet, my feet were frozen. Will start a thread about that actually.

Started a thread on footwear and socks last night but lost it all while trying to add links.
I had been looking at sealskinz socks, how do these orvis compare? I'm gonna get a bigger pair of wellies to accommodate thick socks. Tight fit is apparently the main cause of cold feet, well after temperature.... Have seen elsewhere people suggest 3 sizes bigger than your normal? Sounds v big to me. Any suggestions?

Yeah......Try them on first :z16

Real rubber and Neoprene lined are brilliant and mine fit with a wee bit of room over a good pair of  bridgedale heavyweight socks.
Not enough room to move my feet around but enough not to feel snug :z6

Good wellies are worth paying for, however john Norris often has slight seconds that are superb value :z16

You need the Electric socks Noel

http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=battery+heated+socks&tag=googhydr-21&index=aps&hvadid=5947924856&hvpos=1t1&hvexid=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=10696476551603872457&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=b&ref=pd_sl_8xd91w8pkk_b

I tried the Sealskin gloves, they kept my hands dry but now warm

Noel

If i remember right, we have the same size shoes :z8 i take a 10 1/2 or an 11 depending on the shoe.
My wellies are a 46 or  size 11 and they are ideal. I wouldn't be going 2 sizes up.
If you go into country ways in town they have a good selection of nice boots to try on.
Ben should have quite a few in the shop as well :wink
Definately worth trying on a few first IMHO.
