Having had no joy on my last few trips salmon fishing and struggling to get my flies to fish deep in cold highish water i decided to tie up some tubes that would hopefully fix the problem. Having looked through a few other forums some anglers swore by a Junction Shrimp for the back end of the season and slightly coloured water. So i decided that i would try and tie a few up for my last couple of trips before the season finishes.
Tube: brass slipstream tube, 1-1/4", 1", 1/2"
Thread: 8/0 Black
Ribbing: Fine silver wire
Body: Black floss (also tied one with half holographic orange)
Front Hackle: White Buck tail
Rear Hackle: Orange Arctic Runner
Cheers
