Hi folks
Spiders, Grouse & Claret, Kate McLaren, Bloodworm, Damsels, Hare's Ear Nymphs, Mini Cats and Watson's Bumble were on the menu this week.
The trout have been harder to tempt in flat calm conditions and it was presentation that made all the difference. Brian Liebenberg netted a dozen fish up to 3 lb, Peter Scott also had 12 up to 3½ lb, Alex Burnett 11 up to 3½ lb, John Reid 10 up to 3 lb and Kenny Hall tempted 10 fish up to 2 lb.
Sunday turned out to be a bit of a forum day, as all the anglers on the water were forum members. Sandy and Daniel were out, Euan and Iain, Alex and Peter, Kevin and Ben
Quite hard fishing on the day, but great fun and I don't even know who caught what
Plenty of brews, playing with anything from Bamboo rods through to an old Daiwa Whisker 12ft double hander ........ Yes, plenty of fun and banter, great stuff
