Hi folks

Here we are in November again already! ....... So let's kick off our Winter 'Step by step' competition

Let's go with monthly themes this year ....... and since spiders are a popular topic on the forum at the moment, let's make the November 'SBS' a spider

Simply pick a spider pattern of your choice and provide a nice fly tying 'Step By Step' illustration of how to make it.

Why not both?
I know there has been a dearth of entries so far but I think people are possibly getting use to the fact that the season is over and there will be a plethora of entries soon.

There are some regular posters that are not tyers so a photo comp is also good. These 'competitions' are more of an involvement over the close season than for any real desire to win a prize.

I will provide the prize for the best photo competition if that might trigger a response - I have the actual thing in mind and can announce it if it's a goer.

Not sure yet ....... would you prefer simply an open subject each month, or a theme, or perhaps a single specific item to get a shot of?

And should we have a video comp for Iain?
