Autumn is such a great time of year. I was looking around me this morning at all the yellows, oranges and reds reflecting in the water, I saw a kingfisher flash past a couple of times and I thought to myself ........ life is good

sometimes man.....................I really wish i wasn't .

I always thought Spring was my favorite time of year
but having not seen any seasons for the last couple of years
I now know , Autumn is the one I miss

Autumn used be my favourite. The beauty along with the fact it meant shooting season was close. I rarely shoot any more, so now all it makes me think of is cold Scottish winters, scraping cars etc.
Spring is my new favourite, first signs of green appearing telling me big trout will soon be rising on The Don and the long evenings are not far away.
