Evening all!

A couple of questions if i may 

I have two 10ft 7 wt sage XP's and both are in need of some attention!
Anyone any idea how much it would cost to have them both re dressed as such with the same eyes/guides as it currently has ( factory built).
A price per rod is kind of what i am after 
One rod also needs a new handle as the cork is almost wrecked - is this possible to be renewed also!
Any thoughts or estimations welcomed,

Rob or sandy would be the two fellas that spring to mind who could answer this as my rod building can be summed up as 'basic'.
It should be more than possible to fit a new cork handle, depends on what spec you want but the worst part of having this done (as I'm sure you can imagine) is the labour cost

Yip..can be refurbished..I have an XP I bought of of Sandy that had been "cut and shut"

I recently re-whipped one of Bens Sages...so yes..it can be done....

But refurbs are no problem Baz, you should get some rings and do it yourself, you have a rod turner/fly drier?
a set of fine wire snakes will set you back about £20, take the time to find the PPB and you will improve the rod too 1 pack of litebuild will do both rods and cost you a tenner. if its 4 piece the cork is no problem either get a pre formed grip and cut the old one off, knock the winding check up the blank,( easy enough after the cork has been cut off) i suppose you have to take off the keeper if it has one, first.
then just glue a new one on with araldite.

You should have no problems with you tying abilities, i'd give it a go

PM sent in reply to yours...but as Sandy says...straight forward..just time consuming to clean up the original blank.

If you do decide to do your self, give me a shout if you need any help or a lone of a rod turner etc.

Baz, removing the epoxy can be a chore like rob says,
but patience pays off . Just don't scrape the blank with the sharp
side of the blade

Hopefully i have got someone lined up now to do the job in hand, thanks for the replies lads 
I barely have enough time to keep my fly boes full so rod building is just not for me
