I'm bringing the barbie and some grub, so I suggest we set a time for lunch and i'll do a few chicken legs and burgers  :z3

Jim

Great stuff Jim :z16

Anything I can do to help?

I think we should maybe just do the casting demo at Haddo ..... it would keep things simple :wink

Best wishes

Cool, food too.

Mike, can you get Magnus to come along?

Will do a demo anywhere really, not fussy.  If there is anything that anyone would like to see in particular let me know and I'll cover it.

Cheers

How about we stop for lunch and a blether at 13:00 ?

If I could comandeer one of the picnic benches for the grub that would be good.

Great Day and weren't  the sun gods kind. Fish were bemused at my efforts but nothing new there. Think most faired better than me with Colin in particular showing us all how it was done. Didn't tell us mind except to vaguely mutter buzzers :z4
Thanks Iain for rowing me around the Loch, in I'm sure a similar manner that the Victorian ladies once were at Haddo.
Jim for the excellent food.
Mike for being the excellent host as always.
Ben for the constant entertainment and keeping the midges away and everyone else that turned out and made it a great day out.  :z16

Jim I'm already thinking about the next one. You have a pm...

I am gutted that I missed the day out, I had to take my mum home bk to Fife as my gf has the cold. Just bought a barrio line aswell, never mind plenty of time to try it out. Hope you all had a good time.

Brilliant day out
 :z16
Great to see everyone again and catch up as well meeting a few new faces, always a pleasure.

Big thanks to Jim for the BBQ, great stuff especially as the weather held nicely too. :z18
The fish kept their heads down, but those that did stick a nose a nose out the water managed to find a couple of flees :z3

Can I just repeat what everyone else has said about a superb day out - a personal thanks to Colin for showing me how it should be done! I knew the writing was on the wall when he caught his first fish pulling line off the reel in preparation to cast - in the words of Rod Stewart - " Some guys have all the luck"!

I hope that next Sunday's Float Tube day is as successful.

All the best
Peter

Great idea, great venue, great day!

Really enjoyed my day out, didnt love the drive home, but an hours kip in a lay by helped! Managed a few fish, a few burgers ( Cheers Jim, excellent! ) and managed to mutter a few oaths after the dries went on for a short time. i swear i could see them shaken their heads in bemusement at my efforts, i mean the fish not just the guys watching.

heard a rumour about size 22 klinkhammers from Ben but i never actually saw one so i still dont think they exist!

All in all a brilliant days fishing, thanks to Peter for keeping me company in the boat, i promise next time, if you've already put your reel in your bag i'll stop too!

What to do for the next one, perhaps you lot could all come down to me... nah then i couldnt fish Haddo that day.

Cheers for hosting mike.

Cheers

Colin.
