Everything on the forum working OK?
« on: 23/12/2009 at 13:55 »
Hi folks

I did a major update on the forum last night and had a few leftover issues to sort out following the forum problems that I had to fix in November.

Could you let me know if you encounter any problems following last night's work please ...... as far as I can tell, everything seems to be working OK?

Best wishes
Mike

Hi Mike, I have not been able to see some of the pirctures in the forum, for a while now... am I missing something?

Let me take this opportunity to wish you a merry xmas and a happy new year.

One of the pictures on my December SBS does not come up on screen. When I do an edit the picture is listed. I tried to delete and insert again. That worked, but the next picture in the sequence now does not show up on screen, which it did before I tried editing.

I will leave it alone for the time being until you get a chance to check it over. It is no big deal as the instructions can still be followed by anyone who wants to tie the pattern.

Hi Mike,

There seems to be a problem with the November step by step winner thread - it seems that the letters G, O, L, A, E & R have been corrupted and exchanged for R, A, B, I, T, N, G, L, E    :z4

cyber pirates?

Hi Dario :z16

There are only one or two photos that currently have problems. If you can't and haven't been able to see quite a few photos for a while and just get an empty box with an "X" ........ it will probably be down to permissions on your PC or network? The ones we post using "tinypic" can be censored, because the tinypic website does not control what people upload on to it :wink

Best wishes

Hi Irvine :z16

Yes, I see the problem. I've tried viewing the "faulty" photos directly on the tinypic website and they are not displaying properly on there either. ( a corrupted file on tinypic maybe? ) I think the best thing to try, would be to delete that one from your post and then try a fresh upload and resize etc of the original photo from your PC?

Thanks for pointing this out, I don't think that this is a fault caused by the forum, but I'll keep an eye on all the photos as best I can, I see one of Baz's is doing the same :z6

Best wishes
Mike
