youthful ,you should see me now i am cream crackered trying to keep up with all these young casting gurus,my loops are tailing and my erse is numb as i had to rush away to P.R.I.

It was a great day and I had to rush away without buying a rod

The western 3 rods are nice the 10FT#7 would be a braw boat rod and the rest are really well finished with a nice matt blank, if mrs monksmyre would let go of the purse i could maybe get one of them bad boys

Another highlight of the day was the chilli soup made by hamish ,come to think about it maybe thats how my erse was numb

It did actually, it was one angry trout!!  Really nice fish, only about 3lb but really went well and in excellent condition, still cannot believe it took that lure that was on the end of about 4ft of 25lb fluorocarbon!  The rod was quite light, 13ft 7wt and not that stiff made really easy work of covering water
