MPH Swap
« on: 20/12/2008 at 22:42 »
General Swap Rules
Each tier will tie one pattern for the swap, and will tie one fly for each participant. For example, if you choose a PTN for a nymph swap with 11 participants, then you must tie 11 PTNs and send them to the swap master with a stamp addressed envelope

The swap master will collect the flies from each participant and then sort them, returning one fly from each participant to everyone involved. Each person in the swap then ends up with 11 different patterns (1 from each tier).

MPH Swap
This swap will consist of Montana's :shock, Pheasant tail's and Hares Ear Nymp's, Oh and diawl bachs :oops.
Ok i know its the festive season and everyone is busy so i dare say once we get the 11 tiers we can set a completion date but realistically it will be for the end of Jan. This will give everyone ample time over the hectic period to complete their flies!
So who's playing  :z4

Ok i think charity has had enough flies off of us lately so how about we all tie 11 flies and we can leave the 11th  spot available in case someone is intrested at the last minute.
If no one fills it which i doubt it i will make up the extra set.  :z18

Hi Baz :z16

I reckon this is your "Festive scrap heap challenge" :wink Your challenge being to make a replacement one out of ..... whatever "scrap stuff" you have out there :z7

Botch one up that works and post a photo of it on here ........ If I like your design, it works and it makes me laugh, I'll send you a prize :z16

Cheers

Hi Clark,

Probably best tying something that you have done before and you know catches fish!
Variations are good as it gives us all new ideas on future patterns  :z16
