It surprises me that thee ae any fish left. The rivers that i fish have lost most of there fly life and the fish that are still there are hammmered by the goosanders, The large increase in seals in the estuary have all got to feed. Why anyone is surprise at the state of the fishing/

100% correct Bob and if you think last season was bad just wait till you see this current seasons figures if the start is anything to go by.

Looking at the Tay catches there seams to me to be a desperation to get a photo and stick it on Facebook.
A nice bit of springer grilled with some fresh spuds is now only a dream.
