Hi folks

Have just been outside ........ I don't know what the temperature is, but it certainly isn't above zero :z6

The roads are frozen and I would guess that we'll have a few frozen lochs tomorrow :z5

Brrrrr :z10

Trust me when I say that the trip into work this morning was 'amusing' and coming home getting out of town was 'skippy' and getting out to Dinnet 'entertaining'  :shock Focused the mind let me tell you :shock :shock

What was Pitfour like today Andrew?

The Haddo water temps have been hovering around "more than a tad chilly" for a few days now ....... so it won't take much to freeze :z10

Cheers

lots of snow on the gound and flying past the window sideways,
was mildish until 4.30ish but then went bitter and all the melting snow had turned to ice by the time i headed home at 7, was quiet a breeze giving a good ripple on the water so hopefully it will stay that way and not freeze, last thing i want to do is have to break any ice thats about when my fish come on wed/thurs as were i stocks always the last but to thaw

Hamish,
Ya big jess...roads where fine out to dinnet last night. I even took the Tarland road home to the cross roads then over the hill to Torphins to try and spice up the drive home :) Discos are great in the snow :)

This morning was a different story comming down the hill from my house. Yesterday was 4 inches of fresh snow so the tyres where gripping fine, this morning was ice!..Wooohooooo!

Rob - suspect my nerves were frazzled after some plank in a Discovery tried running me off the road after getting it horribly sideways with no hope of recovery on the Tarland road...... oh..... actually....... errrrr.... you've a Disco don't you Rob :?  :z4 :z4

Nah, it was really very bad coming out from Aberdeen to maybe Potties but not too shabby after that, Aberdeen was just an ice rink.
It was the ice that focused the mind a tad, snow I don't mind as much :shock

I can assure you I did not get anything sideways..  :z7

However, i did pull three cars out of the hedgerow when they did infact get it sideways  :z8. why won't folk slow down???

I have to say that ice and 2 tonnes of metal do not mix to well. The wee Yaris is much better on ice..woohoooo!

There was quite a bit of snow about today ..... but no ice on the loch and a couple of "hardy anglers" enjoyed a good session.

The sunny spells were fine, but a few blustery snow showers made things a bit cooler :wink

(below) Bustery snow showers today :shock

Cheers
Mike
