Hello new to forum . Fished Melrose section 3 weekends a year and for the last 3 years ,with season ticket. Returning beginning of April for start of new season ,I have always fished from behind Waverley hotel down river to large open River area and had good success but was plagued by otters and have only ever seen 1 other angler fishing for evening rise. Am I fishing poor area and would I be better down to iron bridge area , thankyou in advance for any replies ( tight lines )
