Failed!!! But did end up with 7 very silver Salmon Truttas though.
Did have a large one swirl at my feet in a deep pool as the tide emptied. It came up out the dark water really fast, smacked the fly and was gone
Two seals also turned up and the fishing went dead, closely followed by a large group of folk who decided that they would fish/swim/throwrocks at the seals less than 20 yards from where I was fishing.
Time to go home!!
