Haddo Trout Fishery ( to February 27th )
« on: 27/02/2011 at 19:11 »
Hi folks

Well, let's hope we've seen the last of the ice for a while, things are slowly getting back to normal and the fishery has been open for a few days now.

Over the last couple of days Buzzers, Bloodworms, White Straggle Nymphs, Mini Cats, Damsels, Black & Red Montanas, Okey Dokeys and natural and olive versions of the Hare's Ear Nymph have proved good choices of fly :wink

Ian Brown enjoyed a good session releasing 16 fish, including a 10 lb rainbow and a 3 lb brownie, Fred McAlley had 14 up to 5 lb, Ewan Lindsay 10 including a 10 lb rainbow and a 4 lb brownie, John Freeland 8 including an 8 lb rainbow and a 4 lb brownie, Jim Eddie 8 up to 6 lb and Neil Garden netted 8 fish up to 4 lb.

Best wishes
Mike
