All,

There are more than one or two talented fly tiers on here.  And I wondered if there would be any appetite for starting a fly swap? My proposal would be that there is one every quarter and that each quarter has a theme to it.  So the first quarter might be weighted nymphs and the last quarter salmon flies or rainbow lures for the winter if you follow my theme.  Also I would be prepared to work with a smaller swap of say 5 people rather than the traditional number of 10.

I would do the admin side of it and post the envelopes back to people provided a stamped addressed envelope was supplied.

Let me know what people think.

Cheers

Matt

Matt

Sounds like a great idea, but do you realise what volunteering to be Flybitch entails :z4
I think if you could get enough people interested then it would be a cool idea.
I'd certainly send stuff in from out here.
So you could count me in :z18

Sandy,

That's great to hear.

Part of the reason for only doing it once a quarter is that it's not so much work for me and people don't get bored making a prescribed fly each month.

Cheers
