Hi

Does any one out there have any info regarding head lengths of these lines. I have been given 2 10# weight lines. It does not say that they are salmon/spey lines, nor is there any info regarding the head length for a 10# line. I was wondering if these are castable using spey type casts.

Hi Geoff,

These are singlehanded lines, not for salmon rods.  The head is about 40' ish for both of them I think, will check exact lengths tomorow and post back.

Hi Ben,

Cheers for the info, suspected that they might have been single handed lines. I will punt them on if I can, or perhaps use them as shooting heads for my smaller double handers, as I dont have any call for single handed lines of that size. Thanks again.

Depending on price, I might take them off your hand...or I have an 8/9 weight Spey double handed line that I don't want...Orvis, was on a reel i bought from Ben...pretty much brand new.
