Have followed this on sexyloops and my email, for what it is worth, has been sent.

Ultimately, I fear that our unending thirst for electrical power will require more Hydro plants throughout europe and I fear that something will have to give..... I think we all know what that will be  :

In the meantime, let's do our best for our Noggie chums

Mind you having worked there often enough, i'm surprised they are Damming rivers, the schemes i saw were usually at the sides of the fjords and worked on Gravity like a lot of the scottish ones.Just the slopes were a lot steeper (like 1km vertical drops) :
