Interesting you've omitted the wing Robert, does that effect the offers from fish?
The wings can certainly cause the fly to spin when casting.

Hi Allan, they have fished well enough. Triggers of the shape, body, and legs must still be enough to convince the fish. The fly also tends to sit well into the suface film so I imaging it presents a nice vulnerable target when static.

I can't make any claim to the pattern as I copied Steve Cullen's tying.

Thanks Robert, will try them this way and compare, would certainly remove any chance of the fly spinning during the cast.
