I bought one of these contraptions called a Yarn Swift which is brilliant for changing fly lines. It's much quicker than traditional line winders and clamps horizontally or vertically to surfaces.

Yes! Makes the difference between  moving or respooling lines and can’t be arsed!
Also the diameter of the coil can be changed by raising or lowering the arms on the spindle.
