Now, i have never liked carrying my float tube as the straps that come with it aren't padded and constantly slip of my shoulders.
So i was having a look on the internet the other day and thought " I'll try those" - from the 'Bass dash' brand
Tried them on my tube last night and WHAT a difference ! Comfy and the wee clip on the middle means no holding the straps together. They are rated to carry up to 20kgs so will manage the weight of a float tube no bother ! I'll try them out this weekend in the real world when hopefully i get my last casts of the season.
