Santa 2021

The inevitable December question *smiley-grin* ..... What's on your Santa list this year :?

An amount of fly tying stuff I probably don't really need - but have bought anyway for SWMBO to give to me at Christmas  *smiley-wink*
The reel that is my 50th birthday present, ordered back in July, still isn't in stock in the UK. I may have to make myself feel better by encouraging Santa to provide me with a substitute  reel at Christmas to 'keep me going' *smiley-grin*

More worryingly, 'little me' has asked for a fly fishing outfit. He's not going to get it for Christmas..... but I might be persuaded in the New Year to consider the idea of 'helping Santa out'  >)

I let my wife know that a 14 foot 6 Hardy Zephrus was being delivered by Santa. It has arrived so I look forward to opening the cardboard delivery tube on Christmas morning.

My wife tells me that a wee chocolate roan cocker spaniel pup may arrive in time for xmas.
This would be the best xmas present ever as we recently lost our 15 year old Golden cocker.

Duncan,

That sounds ace, way better than a fly rod 👍

Eddie

I wouldn't mind getting a Hardy Zephrus as well as the pup but that would be a bit greedy *smiley-wink*

Hope you manage to christen your new rod with a sealiced Dee springer.

Cheers Duncan,

I have kept back a bunch of holidays that need to be used by the end of March so I will definitely be trying.

Cockers are great wee dogs. A new fishing pal for years to come, enjoy.

I have dropped some less than subtle hints for a Taniwha glass blank and a travel vice.

Not too fussy either way, but the rod would edge it slightly.
