Really enjoyed seeing these, all the more because I have a 9’ #9 EV3 V4 “Flats Hunter” rod that I think was made for Bonefish.
I use it in the sea around the UK and for pike and casting and fishing with it is just a delight.
I had a similar very enjoyable experience using a Norwich 13’ 9’ M400 #8/10 salmon rod that I borrowed a few weeks ago.
I am curious as to how Norwich rods have stood the test of time and compare in use with more modern carbon fibre rods.
My own view, based on limited experience with a relatively small number of comparisons, is that they are just as good as more modern equivalents but I’d be interested in the views of others as to whether (and in what way) they may have been superseded.
Thanks
Jim
