Booked a holiday to Sorrento in  Italy last week, for the end of march ,now after a wee bit of investigating I have found that there is a wee bit of swff to be done .so far Ive found out It is possable to catch BARRACUDA BASS    BLUE FISH ???and I would think mullet on the bread fly :z8Info as to whare when how is v scetchy.Anyone on the forum have any info or experience .even a wee bit of info would be a good help.

They will most certainly be able to suggest flies for the Bass and Mullet Surf Candies and the like should take the bass, dressed with green, chatreause or blue backs. The Orvis shop in Banchory has saltwater flies..they are in boxes under the trout fly display...sandeels, surf candies, crab and shrimp patterns etc.

Mullet will take flies that look like maggots (Sawyers Killer Bug) or a hook wrapped in white marabou and left to sink very very slowly. A 6 weight is a good rod for this.

I would also take some Clousers, Crazy Charlies (great shrimp pattern) and poppers.

Hi Rob thanks for the advice it all helps lots.iv signed on to the big fourm but havent sent a post yet. I have sent a couple on an Italian site Im a wee bit shocked by the barra thing also but check out these replys (mabie they are trying to boost angling tourasam )
