Hi folks ....... the events calendar thread proved popular last year
Dates were a bit 'out of sync' though ...... so we thought it might be a good idea to use a proper forum calendar, which you can now see in the dark blue forum menu
Adding an event is quite easy:
1 - Click on the 'Calendar' link.
2 - Select 'Post Event' from the drop down menu.
3 - Give your post about the event a descriptive 'Subject'.
4 - Enter a short 'Event Title' to appear under the date in the calendar.
5 - Select the Year, Month and Day for the event.
5 - Select the number of days the event runs for.
6 - Add your text and photos to the text editor box as normal.
7 - When you are finished, use the 'Post' and 'Preview' buttons as you would in any normal forum post.
You will now have created a new post about your event and the event title will also appear in the corresponding date in the calendar
The event title in the calendar will also link to your information post.
