OK, so I've asked Santa for a bean to cup coffee machine for Christmas ...... I've got a Tassimo machine at the moment, but must confess that I don't like using it because of all the plastic pods

So ..... which coffee beans are the best guys? I'm really looking forward to trying out all the different types.

When you get your "Macbeans" you need a proper machine. I had a Tassimo and then a Nespresso. Now I have a De Longhi bean to cup machine which is in a different league altogether.
And the waste goes on the compost heap.

Due to my coffee consumption I can see me going down the route of a 'bean to cup' machine - in the January sales maybe

Lidl does single source coffee I was drinking Ethiopean Sidamo last week , I did try Yergacheff , another Ethiopean coffee, very nice , but any of the Arabica beans should be nice,  but look for first crop Beans from small producers, or you could try the Civet cat Crap beans , they are quite expensive, I haven't gone down that road yet, Amazon do have a big Selection,  Derek Roxborough

How's the bean to cup machine working out Mike?

Are there advantages over an espresso machine with a frother?

Really pleased with it Derek ..... but not been using it a lot so far, as I've been having fun with the Flu over the festive period and my sense of taste is currently pretty much non existent
