I had a hard afternoon on one of our local lochs with wind gusting to about force 6, but it was dry and  clear, so I persevered, but it  was hard going , I did eventually manage one very thin trout about 10ins, it was returned any way, but after I was wondering if it was lack of feeding or an early spawner?this loch has introduced minnows but the residents don't seem to bother much with them , but the minnows do compete for the insect life,, any how I continued on my quest, but as I was thinking about going home I managed to miss a 2nd trout , that's life? it was getting cold with the wind and it hadn't let  up all day,so I was glad to get home, Derek Roxborough
