Enticing the fish to strike out of hunger or out of instinct always gets the blood pumping , freshly stocked with fish over 2lb they seem to be agitating the local fish much to the delight of the angler. Improvements to the banks is ongoing but it doesn't impact the fishing
Some great catches this week here are a few of them , A. Murray 47 fish (multiple visits) on cats whisker , j mackay 14 fish on orange blob and black fritz, L Davidson 8 fish on diawl bach and nomad, N..Thomson 8 fish on buzzers , J. Alexander 4 fish on nymph, J. West 4 fish on WSW.
Delgatie Castle Trout Fishery is open seven days from 8am and visitors and novices are always welcome. Evening fishing is available and we usually close at 9pm although we ask people to be on the water by 7pm.(booking is preferred so we don't disappoint)
Booking is not necessary and boats (where required) rods and tackle is available for hire at the fishery.
