Down here in Staffordshire the Spring fishing on Blithefield Reservoir has never been better.
The ever present easterly wind  has made bank fishing exceptionally good.  Plenty of rods averaging a dozen or so in recent weeks. My pal returned 35 one day a fortnight ago.  Last week the Hawthorn's and buzzers murdered them.  I did quite well on daddies and sredges too.  It's been a good easterly for us

Been doing rather well with an easterly...and I have no idea why! Normally its a killer.
