The past week has seen our area avoid all the worst of the predicted weather and the fishing has enjoyed a week of settled, seasonal weather. Unfortunately the anglers have paid attention to the forecast and decided against visiting the fishery. The results for the week indicates that for those who turned up the rewards were there to be had with A Gibson from Gardenstown landing 50 fish for his five hour session using a sink tip line and Cormorant, Diawl Bach and WSW as his end tackle. Other notable catches were landed by; J Mackay, Macduff, 13 fish, (orange blob), A Murray, Gardenstown 10 fish, (white fritz), J Stephen, Peterehad, 8 fish, (olive bunny leech), P Cowie, Fraserburgh, 8 fish, (blobs, buzzers), D Stewart, Kintore, 5 fish, (black buzzers).
Despite national forecasts the weather for this area appears to be quite benign with seasonal temperatures.
