Problem solved. A change from costal to comparadun saw my cdc n elks good.

Commin mistake Liam, comparadun hair or short fine (Wapsi) the ebst for me when tying in deer hair wings.  Also good for smaller quick muddler heads on Kate McLaren's, Clan Chief's, Soldier Palmers etc.
