Lost?

Saw this fella in my back garden last night.  I live in the centre of Aberdeen and nowhere near any running or standing water.  Almost transparent wings with no visible veins, burgundy coloured body and two tails.  Any of you entomologists have any ideas what he is and where he might have come from?

Thanks Magnus. I guessed it might be a spinner because of the body colour. I thought LDOs had more "vein-ey wings. Do the wings change as they mature?

It still seems a long way from home in downtown Aberdeen...

The LDO has fairly plain wings as a dun, not much veining, but generally most spinners have clear glassy wings.

The easy identifying features for most upwings are the small hindwings, you can just make them out on your photo and they look like LDO ones.
The body colour with the Light bands is also an LDO identifyer.
As spinners, flies often travel a quite a long way on the wind so its not unusual to find them all over. We had some march browns in the hangar this year, so go figure :z4
