Glen of Rothes trout fishery
Winter started to show this week as temperatures dropped so did fish in the water and intermediate lines were the best.Black Zonkers and minkie patterns worked best as fish began feeding on the fry in the water. Many fish were caught close in and after the heavy rain at the weekend and the levels rose, fishing was still good for anglers and the fresh water will help both angler and fish. Some of the returns are George Flett a fish of 7lb 12ozs,Kev Middlemiss had 8 fish,Rob Harding had 16 fish,Gordon Grant 10,George Stewart snr had 9,Neil Smith had 12 with a fish of 4lb 4ozs.
