I gather some rather well heeled "serious" fly fisher type folks don't like all this Hank stuff - too close to the bone perhaps ? ! Not great when people can't have a laugh at themselves - same thing happened with the movie Spinal Tap. I can tell you having played in metal bands in my younger days ( when I had a 30 inch waistline and actually had hair   ) it IS like that.

my heels are worn out and i don't take myself seriously but i find all his stuff stupid at best and definitely not entertaining.
around here we call stuff like that: "shit for tourists"...

Whilst I don't think this is Hank's best, I recognize the "type" only too well ! Oh well, guess I must be a "tourist" then !
