Highly amusing as at that point (blackburn) I couldn't see the F*****G road around me for SNOW!!!!
Seriously whiteout conditions ...... crashes, lorry stuck at a roundabout, and a white beamer stuck on a slight incline. As a tip for another thread I'd vote a freelander with knobbly tyres as an ideal fishing car it was brilliant all the way from johnshaven to blackburn and back (by way of M&S Union Sq)
