Hiya

You've made a nice job of the blank , cleaning up older cane can be a pig of job.
Out of interest, your choice of thread is interesting for a Hardy rod, are you matching the original colour or making it your own? I'm all for personalising things, thats what rod building is all about , i was just curious as i've never seen a Hardy whipped in white, they are usually green or claret.
The whippings are lovely and neat as well
