I have aquired a lovely Brodin scoop net
however the Seller didn't mention the underside of the handle was scored/scratched
I want to keep this net
.
please advise best solution -
sand.?
stain.?
varnish.?

I dont have a clue about DIY......... :oops

try using a wet newspaper and an Iron to lift any fibres then let it dry ,and rub it over with fine wire wool when you have done this , a coat of yacht varnish or 2, it should do the trick easgach 1

it doesn't look as though it is stained so you should be fine, easgach 1
