I haven't ever properly fished for brownies on the Don for a whole season, the urge of catching larger rainbows in stocked fisheries has always pulled me away from the idea, but this year i have made a promise to myself that im going to. I am just away to upgrade my dry fly box to a c & f design one and instead of lots of odds and ends am sticking to only a couple dozen different patterns ( 16 or so dry patterns and a few more paracute & cdc patterns ect..) can some of you please give me an idea of what flies you have in your dry fly box and what sizes or patterns you have found succesful on the Don.

Thanks, Jay

The info is already there Jay    However, olive f fly in sizes 18 to 12 will serve you well.
Oh - and a sedgehog

And during the olive hatch, don't go  without a few of Bob Wyatt's Deer Hair Emergers, size 12. My most usefull fly in the spring.

Good Luck
