Good evening chaps!  Its been a while since I last posted but here goes.....

I have just recieved $350 worth of Amazon.com vouchers as a bonus from work :z16

Unfortunately these are unusable on .co.uk so I have spoken to several of the American lads on the rig and they are willing to take delivery of and carry over to the rig whatever I decide to purchase.  Obviously I have to consider the fact that I dont want to put the guys out too much so the items have to be relatively small in size and preferably fishing related :grin these are the main thing I have been looking at http://www.amazon.com/Maui-Jim-Sport-Sunglasses-Kanaha/dp/B0009IS7FI/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=apparel&qid=1265487904&sr=8-4 does anybody have any experience with these?

So basically if you had $350 of amazon vouchers to spend at will, could only order relatively small items and preferably fishing related, what would you buy???

Hi Steven :z16

I'm a bit of a "reel tart" myself, so I'd probably look at those first :z4

Best wishes

What do you think Mike?  It should match my barrio rather well  :z16

Nice one Steven :wink

Not sure about the #2 - #4 size though, I have found some brands of reels to be smaller than expected and had difficulty loading a line on them and with fly line memory on small spools? I would probably go for the next size up myself? Can you get advice from anybody that owns one of these reels? ..... Just a thought :z3

Best wishes
Mike

Yeah good point Mike I think i'll hold off until I get home and see if I can get my hands on one to see whats what!  Iv always wanted one of the original models for salmon fishing but could never justify the cash! It just seemed perfect considering the price is practically bang on my voucher money, but as you say far safer to get my hands on one or ask around and see what owners of them think.
