so I've gone a bit old school as per a request from a fishing friend of mine for some flies he struggles to get any more.

too true Mike.

I think I will try a few myself.

I like fishing a 'goats toe' for example and the big brownies love them

They look superb James. Not a pattern I am familiar with. What is the body, I can't quite make it out.

I do like leggy patterns. Peterson's Pennel and Wet Daddies being favourites.

Hi John

the original has a black seals fur body, silver rib and ginger palmered hackle.

I did a couple with the seals fur but then thought i would change it up by replacing that with blue peacock flash dubbing which i  think looks much nicer and goes better with the colour scheme  *smiley-tongue-out*
